About GHC Mechanical, Inc.

 

GHC Mechanical, Inc. is a full service design/ build company and the only Linc Service Network provider in Illinois.  We provide service and on-going maintenance for over 75% of our installations.  GHC Mechanical, Inc. was founded in May of 1969 by Bob Geegan as the Geegan Heating Company.  Centrally located in Elk Grove Village for the past 20 years, our 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse is home to all divisions of GHC Mechanical, Inc.

 

Our support staff is experienced in design and build, as well as providing detailed and comprehensive proposals for your engineered plans.  Our staff is well versed in, and has, state-of-the-art computer aided drafting equipment at their disposal.  This technology allows us to quickly and efficiently provide estimates and shop drawings for our customers.   We have the ability to load your plans onto our computer via disc, or email.  Thus, saving plotting time in both the development/estimating phase of a project and in the production/fabricating phase of a project.

 

Highly trained and skilled, our sheet metal department is staffed by Union Local 73 members.  Many of the employees in this department have been with our company for ten or more years; and have both, inside fabrication and outside installation experience.  The man in charge of this department has been with GHC Mechanical, Inc. for 20+ years.

We use the latest in plasma cutting technology, allowing us to quickly fabricate items as simple as a piece of straight duct or the most complicated duct work fittings.  This plasma technology is complimented by our C.A.D. system.  Shop drawings that have been produced by our C.A.D. system can be loaded into our Cybermation computer.  Thus, reducing the plotting time needed prior to fabricating ductwork.

 

The pipe fitting department is staffed by many employees that have also been with the company for 20 or more years.  Our Piping Superintendent has been with our company for more than 25 years.  Collectively, these men have experience with specialized welding and process piping; and we continually keep certified welders on staff. 

 

Heading up our service department, a gentleman that has been with GHC Mechanical, Inc. for close to 25 years.  Staffed by Union Local 597 employees, all personnel in this department are continually being trained in the latest technology.  They attend classes offered by the union, manufacturers and industry associations.  All are certified and knowledgeable in refrigerant recovery.  Whether they are cleaning a small unit heater, or servicing the most sophisticated equipment, our service personnel have the knowledge and resources behind them to provide professional services, regardless of the nature of the equipment.  This department has its own fleet of fully inventoried trucks and our communication network enables us to provide 24 hour service 365 days a year.

 

GHC Mechanical, Inc. is a financially sound organization.  Our bonding is provided to us through Rand Tec Insurance Agency, Inc.  We have been bonded for projects in excess of 3 million dollars.  GHC Mechanical, Inc. is an established and sound company ready and capable to provide for your H.V.A.C. needs.
